Recently, good news came from Section 2 of the Cameroon Benue River Irrigation Project: the construction task for the embankment graded earthworks has been successfully completed. The achievement of this important milestone marks another substantial progress in the advancement of the irrigation project.

The total length of this embankment graded earthwork construction reached 18.1 kilometers. To ensure construction quality, the project department implemented several effective measures. Prior to construction, the department organized technical briefings in advance, strengthening technical control over key indicators such as surface layer compaction and moisture content, aiming to achieve compliance standards in a single pass. Simultaneously, they rationally allocated mechanical equipment and workforce, improved equipment utilization efficiency, and coordinated the management of resources across various departments to ensure orderly connection and steady progress of all work phases. Regarding safety production, the project department also spared no effort. Before construction, they conducted pre-shift safety training for work teams, strengthened all personnel's safety awareness, and fortified the safety production line.

The successful completion of the embankment graded earthworks not only demonstrates the professional competence and efficient execution capability of the project team but has also earned unanimous recognition from the client and supervision. The project team stated that they will systematically summarize the experience from this construction phase, continuously optimize subsequent construction organization plans, and strive to complete the contractual obligations for the entire irrigation project at an early date with even greater enthusiasm and a more rigorous attitude.
