On March 5, 2026, Vancouver-based mining company StrikePoint Gold Inc. announced the withdrawal and clarification of its previous statements regarding the exploration target for its Hercules Gold Project. The company stated that some prior disclosures may not have fully complied with the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 standards for mineral project disclosure and that corrective measures have now been taken.
StrikePoint Gold acknowledged that in the past, through channels such as news releases, social media, and presentations, it had implied that the exploration target could be converted into mineral resources or had been treated as an unclassified resource. These statements have been formally withdrawn because they did not include the necessary cautionary language and may have inappropriately suggested that the exploration target was equivalent to a mineral resource estimate.
The company clarified that the exploration target for the Hercules Gold Project is conceptual in nature, and the current level of exploration is insufficient to define a mineral resource. There is uncertainty as to whether further exploration will allow the target to be delineated as a resource. The exploration target should not be misinterpreted as a mineral resource or mineral reserve, and there is no guarantee that any exploration program will successfully achieve conversion.
To comply with NI 43-101 requirements, StrikePoint Gold has updated its website, corporate presentations, and investor relations materials. All technical data has been reviewed and approved by President and CEO Michael G. Allen, who, as a qualified person, has ensured the compliance of the disclosure.
StrikePoint Gold is a company focused on precious metals exploration in the United States and Canada, holding two district-scale projects: Hercules and Cuprite. The company emphasized that its management team possesses extensive industry experience and that this clarification aims to ensure the accuracy and transparency of information disclosure, thereby protecting investor interests.
