Wedoany.com Report on Mar 11th, with approval from relevant authorities, as the main body implementing the minimum purchase price policy, Sinograin successively initiated the 2025 medium-late rice minimum purchase price implementation plan in eligible regions within Henan, Hunan, and Heilongjiang provinces. By the end of February this year, the 2025 medium-late rice minimum purchase price procurement work has been fully completed. Sinograin cumulatively activated 140 minimum purchase price storage depots, effectively safeguarding the interests of grain farmers and helping to secure the bottom line of farmers being able to "grow and sell their grain."

Since 2025, facing practical challenges such as expanded procurement and storage scale, widespread distribution of depots, and difficulties in procurement/storage decision-making and scheduling, Sinograin innovatively developed and applied a "map-based operation" system for grain procurement and storage during minimum purchase price grain procurement. Through visualization functions like electronic maps and data dashboards, it displays information such as warehouse capacity numbers, warehouse layout, capacity consumption, procurement progress, and vehicle queues in real-time and intuitively. This achieves a "single-map overview" of the entire grain procurement process, continuously improving the precision of procurement/storage decision-making and scheduling, and providing strong support for enhancing the modernization level of procurement/storage management and better serving farmers.

During the procurement process, Sinograin's directly affiliated enterprises took multiple measures to optimize services for farmers and effectively protect their interests. Sinograin Heilongjiang Branch and its directly affiliated enterprises actively promoted the "Benefit Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Farmers" App. Grain-selling farmers can make online appointments via the App, reducing travel, queuing time, and enabling faster grain sales. Currently, the online appointment rate exceeds 90%. Facing extreme weather like severe winter cold, procurement depots set up farmer service stations, providing considerate services such as rest areas, tea and simple meals, and common medicines for grain-selling farmers.

China's grain production achieved another bumper harvest in 2025, with autumn grain procurement work carried out effectively and orderly. The latest data released by the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration shows that, so far, various types of grain business entities nationwide have cumulatively procured over 300 million tons of autumn grain, a relatively high level in recent years. Currently, the procurement of China's medium-late rice is basically complete, with a total of 103 million tons of medium-late rice procured.
