In February 2026, China's soybean imports amounted to 5.976 million tons. The cumulative import volume from January to February was 12.547 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.8%. The decline in imports was due to the slow progress of the Brazilian soybean harvest and delays in customs clearance.
China's edible vegetable oil imports in February were 605,000 tons. The cumulative import volume from January to February was 1.335 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 48.8%.
