en.Wedoany.com Report, On March 22, Australia's Terra Critical Minerals Ltd (ASX: T92) announced the identification of high-grade tin mineralization at its Silent Grove tin project in New South Wales, with peak tin grades reaching 5.21%. The project is located on the northern margin of the Mole Granite batholith in the New England region, an area hosting over 350 hard rock and alluvial tin occurrences, making it one of Australia's primary tin-producing regions.
The company's review of historical government sampling data revealed high-grade results at several prospects: the Stormers Gully area with 4.66% tin and the Silent Flat alluvials with 3.4% tin. The mineralization is associated with polymetallic elements including silver, tungsten, and bismuth. The project's Exploration License (EL9872) has been granted.
Tin has been classified as a critical mineral. Terra Critical Minerals plans to commence systematic mapping and sampling work in the second quarter of 2026 to define targets for subsequent drilling.
