en.Wedoany.com Reported - On April 16th, GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. officially launched pre-sales for the new intelligent and stylish urban SUV, the Aion N60, in the Chinese market. The pre-sale price for this model starts at 115,800 yuan, with intelligent driving features as standard across all variants. The Aion N60 is equipped with WeRide's WRD 3.0 one-stage end-to-end advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) solution, enabling full-scenario high-level ADAS functions covering urban roads, highways, parking, as well as active and passive safety.
The WeRide WRD 3.0 solution marks its first mass-production implementation based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform in the Aion N60 model. This makes WeRide an intelligent driving solution provider that has achieved mass production of a one-stage end-to-end solution on both mainstream in-vehicle computing platforms: Nvidia Drive and Qualcomm Snapdragon. The solution utilizes multi-objective intent prediction and full-scenario semantic recognition technology to proactively understand the behavioral states of various traffic participants. This enables the vehicle to anticipate risks and dynamically adjust speed and path when facing complex scenarios such as parallel crossing by non-motorized vehicles, pedestrians darting into traffic, urban villages, and multi-level interchanges.
The intelligent driving capabilities of the Aion N60 rely on systematic training using WeRide's self-developed general simulation model, WeRide GENESIS. This model constructs a fusion framework of physical AI and generative AI, consisting of four major modules: AI Scenario, AI Agent, AI Metrics, and AI Diagnosis. It can generate highly realistic urban road networks and various traffic participants within minutes, forming a complete closed loop from scenario generation to diagnostic root cause analysis.
WeRide revealed that it will continue to collaborate with GAC Aion and other brands under the GAC Group to launch new intelligent driving models covering different price segments in the future.
