Wedoany.com Report-Jan 02,Vestas has sold a 277MW wind portfolio in Italy.

The projects included in the portfolio and the customer are undisclosed.

The company, which holds around 28GW of wind capacity in its pipeline and has obtained 7GW of firm projects from development activity, said the transaction demonstrates its “ability to continue delivering viable, high-quality wind projects in Italy”.

Head of MED Development Leopoldo Versace added: “This sale showcases Vestas’ ability to continue originating and developing a high-quality pipeline in Italy, which is key to accelerating the energy transition and bringing local benefits to communities in the country.”
