en.Wedoany.com Reported - Canada's NGEx Minerals Ltd. has released the latest drill results from the Phase 4 exploration program at the Lunahuasi gold project in San Juan Province, Argentina. Drill hole DPDH028 was drilled from the same pad as DPDH021 but in a different direction to assess mineralization continuity. The hole intercepted a 17.30-meter section grading 207.79 g/t gold, including 2.00 meters grading 1,740.00 g/t gold and 4.88 meters grading 60.10 g/t gold.

The drill results also show that this main interval contains silver and copper. The 17.30-meter section also reported a silver grade of 1,933.79 g/t and a copper grade of 3.79%. Another significant interval in the same hole was 6.85 meters grading 17.24 g/t gold, 511.81 g/t silver, and 1.37% copper. NGEx noted that these drill results continue to demonstrate the presence of multiple high-grade mineralized zones within the system. Mineralization occurs in massive sulfide structures and in quartz veins associated with visible gold. The hole was drilled in an area named Saturn, one of the priority zones within the Lunahuasi system. NGEx stated that Lunahuasi is an intermediate to high-sulfidation epithermal system associated with copper, gold, and silver mineralization. The project is located in the Vicuña mining district of San Juan Province, Argentina.

The company reported that drilling to date has identified mineralization over a strike length of more than 1,100 meters, a width of more than 1,100 meters, and a vertical depth of more than 1,000 meters, with the system remaining open in multiple directions. Multiple drill rigs are currently operating at Lunahuasi as part of an expanded exploration program to assess the extensions of previously discovered mineralized structures. Company President and CEO Wojtek Wodzicki stated that these drill results continue to confirm Lunahuasi's potential as a high-grade, large-scale gold project within the Vicuña mining district.
