en.Wedoany.com Reported - Envision officially launched Mission Gobi at the French tech event VivaTech, announcing plans to build 5GW of green AI computing centers in global Gobi Desert regions by 2030, while showcasing its AI power system capabilities and practical implementations.

The development of artificial intelligence is driving data centers from megawatt-scale to gigawatt-scale, with power systems becoming a key determinant of AI industry competitiveness. Zhang Lei, Chairman of Envision Group, stated that traditional power grids can no longer support this transformation. Starting from the Gobi Desert, Envision is bringing AI power systems to the world, offering a Chinese solution to address the power bottleneck in the era of artificial intelligence.

In Chifeng, China, Envision has built the world's first system-level sample of "computing-power coordination," based on a 2GW, 100% renewable energy power system, achieving dynamic real-time coordination of wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, and computing, exploring a new path for the integrated development of AI infrastructure and new energy systems.

In Ulanqab, the "Envision Galaxy Base" is building gigawatt-level integrated artificial intelligence infrastructure combining energy systems and computing systems. As the flagship model of the Mission Gobi plan, this project will provide replicable practical experience and systematic methods for bringing AI power systems to the global stage.

For the global market, Envision will continue to collaborate with local partners, advancing AI power systems from Chinese practice to global application, jointly building clean, intelligent, flexible, and inclusive new power systems, and breaking through the power bottleneck of the AI era.
