en.Wedoany.com Reported - DHL Supply Chain plans to build a new 32,000-square-meter multi-client logistics platform in Escrennes, Loiret, France, dedicated to pharmaceutical distribution across the entire country, serving the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

The platform will be developed on a 7-hectare site acquired by DHL Supply Chain from JMG Partners. Construction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027, with operations targeted to begin in the second half of 2028. The facility will be configured as a standard pharmaceutical warehouse, featuring temperature-controlled storage capabilities from +15 to +25°C, and can integrate a dedicated temperature-controlled unit for +2 to +8°C for heat-sensitive products, along with a hazardous goods storage area.
Christophe Debrenne, the new CEO of DHL Supply Chain France, stated: "The new site in Escrennes is a strategic step for the company in France, located between Paris and Orléans, offering excellent access to France's primary pharmaceutical market and one of the main production bases in the healthcare sector."
The project will be built to high environmental standards, targeting BREEAM Excellent certification, and will be equipped with a 2.8 MW photovoltaic power generation system, including 300 kW for self-consumption, to enhance energy performance. The establishment of this platform will further strengthen DHL's presence in the pharmaceutical logistics sector in France.
