China's Embodied Intelligence Industry Sales Revenue Up 22.4% Year-on-Year in Jan-May

en.Wedoany.com Reported - From January to May 2026, the sales revenue of enterprises in China's embodied intelligence industry increased by 22.4% year-on-year, indicating a positive development trend.

By segment, in the first five months of this year, sales revenue from robot body and complete machine manufacturing increased by 30.1% year-on-year; AI algorithm and software integration increased by 24.5%; and system integration and industry application increased by 27.9%. During the same period, sales revenue from core component manufacturing enterprises grew by 6.8% year-on-year.

The alignment between embodied intelligence products and services and the transformation and upgrading needs of industrial enterprises has further improved. From January to May, the total amount spent by industrial enterprises on purchasing embodied intelligence robots increased by 2.3 times year-on-year, indicating a deepening integration of embodied intelligence robots with industrial production. Meanwhile, sales revenue from supporting services grew rapidly, with information system services such as system integration, deployment, operation, and maintenance increasing by 1.9 times year-on-year.

The embodied intelligence industry is also extending its empowerment to downstream high-tech service sectors. From January to May, the industry's sales revenue to downstream software and information technology services, as well as scientific research and technical services, accounted for 25.5% and 12.7% of total industry sales revenue, respectively. These proportions increased by 11.9 and 4.8 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

Geographically, nearly 90% of China's embodied intelligence industry enterprises are concentrated in five provinces and municipalities: Guangdong, Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu. The remaining enterprises are distributed across 10 other provinces and municipalities, including Liaoning, Shandong, Shaanxi, and Anhui. Among them, Guangdong Province, with its active business entities and comprehensive industrial chain support, firmly holds the top position in market size nationwide.
