en.Wedoany.com Reported - Logistics real estate developer WDP (Warehouses De Pauw) has announced the acquisition of two logistics assets in southern France, with a total investment of approximately €52 million. The acquisition involves assets in Alzonne (Aude) and Vendargues (Hérault), with a total leasable area of approximately 50,300 square meters. WDP stated that the average net operating income (NOI) yield of the portfolio is around 7.0%.

The warehouse in Alzonne, located near Toulouse and Carcassonne, was acquired by WDP through a sale-and-leaseback transaction with the DHL Group, with an investment of approximately €27 million. The asset is a newly built cold chain facility with a leasable area of about 23,300 square meters, along with an additional 8,000 square meters of development potential. The warehouse is operated for Bayer Crop Science and is fully leased to DHL Supply Chain under a nine-year triple net lease.
The investment in the Vendargues asset is approximately €25 million. Located near Montpellier along the A9 corridor connecting France and Spain, the asset has a total area of 27,000 square meters. It will serve as the Southern Europe headquarters and operational hub for a long-term international client of WDP. The client is understood to be the international brand Novastruct (formerly Kawneer), which specializes in aluminum building systems and products for the construction sector.
This acquisition further strengthens WDP's portfolio in France, following the recent establishment of a €67 million land bank in the country.
