Canfor Completes Acquisition of PinkWood, Increasing Annual Capacity by 46 Million Linear Feet
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Canfor Corporation (TSX: CFP) announced the completion of its acquisition of PinkWood Ltd. Located in Calgary, Alberta, PinkWood Ltd. is the largest producer of I-joists in Western Canada. The acquisition, announced on June 9, 2026, will complement Canfor's existing operations in Alberta and British Columbia.
Susan Yurkovich, President and CEO of Canfor, welcomed PinkWood, its management team, and employees to the Canfor family. She noted that the acquisition represents a strong strategic fit for both companies and supports the continued growth of Canfor's value-added manufacturing capabilities.
PinkWood will retain its name and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Canfor. The business will add 120 employees and an annual I-joist production capacity of 46 million linear feet.
