en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russia's Gazprom Neft has completed the trial production phase of its domestically developed hydraulic fracturing fleet and transitioned it to industrial application. The company plans to equip oil and gas projects in Western and Eastern Siberia with multiple series of domestic fracturing equipment by 2030.

Over 65% of Russia's reserves are classified as hard-to-recover, and hydraulic fracturing (ГРП) remains a key technology for developing these resources. The domestic fracturing fleet has been adapted to the climatic and geological conditions of Western Siberia, capable of handling wells up to 4 kilometers deep and performing various types of multi-stage fracturing operations. Planning is carried out using domestic software, including the "Cyber Fracturing" (Кибер ГРП) simulator, which models fracture formation processes and selects reagent formulations.

Bogdan Kostyuk (Богдан Костюк), head of the technology development department at Gazprom Neft, stated that over 70% of wells are currently constructed using hydraulic fracturing technology, but previously all equipment was imported. According to him, the company has been involved from the outset in the federal project to create a domestic fracturing fleet, sharing expertise and participating in the development of technical solutions, with testing conducted at its own fields. He believes that the emergence of reliable domestic equipment capable of handling complex tasks opens new opportunities for the entire industry.

Dmitry Kolupaev (Дмитрий Колупаев), General Director of Gazpromneft-Khantos (Газпромнефть-Хантос), added that last year, trial production tests of the equipment were conducted jointly with MeKaMineft (МеКаМинефть) at the South Priobskoye field. Currently, serial samples for industrial production have been delivered to the field, creating conditions for developing previously inaccessible reserves and fully transitioning to domestic equipment.
