en.Wedoany.com Reported - The gold polymetallic ore concentration area resource survey and evaluation project, led by the Yantai Coastal Zone Geological Survey Center of the China Geological Survey, has achieved phased results, with progress in both construction speed and prospecting breakthroughs in the Jiaodong metallogenic belt.
In the first half of this year, the project technical team faced complex field conditions and geological challenges. By deepening research on regional metallogenic regularities and conducting routine technical evaluations, they optimized drilling locations, borehole depths, and the sequence of geological mapping operations. They also coordinated personnel and equipment, strictly adhered to industry standards, ensured operational safety, and advanced various exploration tasks in an orderly manner. The team also established a "Field Geology Lecture Hall" at the frontline exploration sites, implementing a hands-on teaching model of "experienced staff mentoring newcomers and learning through practice," which trained over a dozen professional technical experts. Through phased efforts, the project has essentially identified the regional metallogenic geological conditions, mineral distribution patterns, and resource endowment characteristics of three completed standard map sheets, delineating multiple high-quality favorable metallogenic areas. The project has cumulatively discovered 2 new gold veins, 1 fluorite vein, and 1 silver-lead-zinc polymetallic vein, adding 3 new gold mineralization points and 2 iron mineralization points. In the Qianchuiliu mining area, multiple construction boreholes successfully encountered ore, clarifying the spatial occurrence characteristics of the near-east-west trending ore-bearing structural fracture zone and expanding the prospecting space in the northern section of the main ore body. As of now, mechanical core drilling footage has exceeded 11,000 meters, and 1:50,000 mineral geological surveys have covered over 1,200 square kilometers. Core fieldwork progress is ahead of schedule, with safe and stable construction operations.
