en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) of the UAE has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with South Korea in the energy sector, covering crude oil supply and strategic storage. The agreement was jointly announced by Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and CEO of ADNOC, and Kim Jong-kwan, South Korea's Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, during their meeting.

This agreement builds on over four decades of energy cooperation between the two countries. The UAE has long been one of South Korea's primary crude oil suppliers. The new strategic storage cooperation aims to enhance supply security and ensure the stable flow of crude oil to the market during geopolitical fluctuations or supply chain disruptions.

This cooperation reflects the strong economic and strategic relationship between the UAE and South Korea, while further confirming ADNOC's position as a reliable supplier in the global energy market. Asia is one of the most important destinations for UAE oil exports. Against the backdrop of rapid transformation in the global energy industry and heightened attention to supply security and energy source diversification, this agreement demonstrates ADNOC's intention to expand its international partner network.

ADNOC has recently continued to enhance its global presence by signing long-term agreements in the oil and gas sector, supporting its commitment to providing reliable energy supplies, improving market resilience, and consolidating the UAE's position as a major energy supplier and strategic partner for Asian and global consumers.
