en.Wedoany.com Reported - U.S. utility-scale solar and energy storage developer Adapture Renewables announced that its 185MW Cherry Valley Solar Project in Cross County, Arkansas, has officially commenced commercial operations. The project is expected to power approximately 30,000 homes annually in Arkansas and is projected to generate nearly $16 million in regional economic value over its lifecycle.
The Cherry Valley project achieved substantial completion on schedule at the end of 2025, with the entire process from acquisition and financing to construction spanning over two years. This solar facility is the final project to be commissioned within Adapture Renewables' Titanium Portfolio, which totals 441MW of installed capacity across Arkansas and Illinois.
"The Cherry Valley Solar Project reaching commercial operations demonstrates Adapture's ability to deliver scalable clean energy projects that enhance regional grid reliability while creating tangible economic impact for local communities," said Thomas Houghton, CEO of Adapture Renewables. He noted that this milestone reflects the team's commitment to responsible development and the collaboration and trust built with local stakeholders and contractors during construction.
Located in Cross County, Arkansas, the 185MW utility-scale renewable energy facility provides long-term, localized clean electricity to meet the region's growing power demand. Adapture previously secured $233 million in tax equity financing for the Titanium Portfolio to support the construction of two solar projects in Illinois and Arkansas. The company is currently actively developing additional utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across the United States.
