Jiang Wenzhong, President of Yunnan Aviation Industry Investment Group and General Commander of the Hub Engineering Construction Headquarters, Gu Jingtao, Chief Engineer of the Kunming International Aviation Hub Engineering Construction Headquarters, and Lu Chuan, President and Deputy Party Secretary of XCMG Machinery, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
XCMG's intelligent equipment manufacturing business aligns closely with Yunnan Airport Group's digital construction philosophy. The two parties have reached in-depth cooperation consensus on cutting-edge areas such as smart construction site development, intelligent construction application, and electrification of construction machinery.
According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two parties will leverage their complementary advantages in technology research and development, scenario application, and resource coordination to jointly explore the integrated application of digital construction and intelligent equipment. They aim to build a comprehensive construction system encompassing "standardized construction design, complete set equipment development, digital construction management, and green low-carbon operation," achieving resource sharing and jointly creating a new pattern of smart and low-carbon development for airports.
Previously, XCMG's complete set solutions had been implemented in the Kunming Changshui Airport expansion project, a major national undertaking under the 14th Five-Year Plan, providing a replicable and scalable technical model for smart airport construction in China. XCMG stated that it will take this cooperation as an opportunity to continue deepening research in smart construction technology and green equipment development, and to fully serve the overall airport facility construction with more reliable products and complete set solutions, contributing solid strength to building China into a transportation powerhouse.
Relevant department heads from Kunming International Aviation Hub and other entities, as well as responsible persons from XCMG Financial Division, XCMG Marketing, and the Southwest Region, participated in the event.
