en.Wedoany.com Reported - During and around the National Science and Technology Activity Week from May 24 to 31, 2025, Baowu Group, under the theme "Striving for the '15th Five-Year Plan,' Writing a New Chapter in Science and Technology," jointly launched over 120 science and technology activities organized by the Group's Science and Technology Association, the Science and Technology Innovation Department, the Publicity Department of the Party Committee, and the Corporate Culture and Brand Management Department. More than 75,000 scientific and technological workers participated, with over 350,000 people engaging online and offline. A total of 25 science popularization venues and 10 research institutions were opened to the public.
Baowu Science and Technology Association, in collaboration with the Digital Intelligence Learning Center of the Management Training Institute, created a dedicated learning zone on the Baowu Micro-Learning Platform, featuring 5 modules, 18 courses, and 28 credit hours, covering topics such as policy trends, the spirit of scientists, innovation exploration, talent incentives, and AI empowerment. As of the end of June, 71,000 course sessions had been completed. On June 17, the Central Research Institute, together with Baowu Science and Technology Association, held the first Baowu Science and Technology Sharing Forum of 2026, with over 150 materials research and development scientists and technicians participating online and offline. The forum is planned to be held regularly on a quarterly basis.
From May 18 to 19, Baowu Intelligent Maintenance, in collaboration with Sinosteel Xingtai Machinery, held a Technical Exchange Conference on Rolling and Roll Technology under the Background of Carbon Neutrality and the Inaugural Meeting of the National Standard Working Group for Metallurgical Rolls.
