en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nord Drivesystems has introduced the MaxxDrive series industrial gearboxes, specifically designed for heavy-duty applications such as bucket elevators, agitators, conveyor drives, mixers, cranes, hoists, crushers, and more.

This series of gearboxes offers output torque ranging from 132,000 to 2,495,900 lb-in, with various input and output options. Available in parallel shaft helical gearbox or right-angle shaft bevel-helical gearbox configurations, they can be flexibly integrated into various systems. The Unicase one-piece housing design helps enhance load capacity, extend bearing life, and achieve low-noise operation.

The MaxxDrive XC series includes both parallel shaft and right-angle shaft compact standard configurations. The parallel shaft version offers 11 housing sizes with 2-stage and 3-stage reduction options, power range from 2.0 to 8,075.0 hp, and torque range from 132,800 to 2,495,900 lb-in. The right-angle shaft version also provides 11 housing sizes, utilizing 3-stage and 4-stage gear designs, with power range from 2.0 to 2,850.0 hp and torque range from 132,800 to 2,301,200 lb-in. Both feature multiple mounting options, cooling and heating options, and sealing solutions to adapt to different environmental conditions.

The MaxxDrive XT right-angle gearbox is developed for high thermal load and high-speed applications, featuring a 2-stage reduction design with 7 housing sizes, maximum power of 2,825.0 hp, and torque range from 132,800 to 663,800 lb-in. This model uses a finned housing structure combined with an axial fan and air guide cover to enhance heat dissipation efficiency, ensuring stable operation in environments with significant temperature fluctuations, such as bulk material handling and grain processing.

Specifically developed for crane and hoist applications, the MaxxDrive XD parallel gearbox features a center distance increased by 35% compared to standard, positioning the motor and drum on the same side to form a U-shaped overall layout, suitable for lifting drives. This series offers 12 housing sizes with 3-stage and 4-stage reduction configurations, maintaining consistent mounting dimensions, with maximum power of 3,084.0 hp and maximum torque of 2,496,000 lb-in.

The MaxxDrive XJ right-angle gearbox adopts a J-shaft arrangement, achieving high power density in a compact installation space, suitable for travel drives and material handling applications. This series provides 12 housing sizes with 3-stage reduction, power range from 4.0 to 2,414.0 hp, and torque range from 60,200 to 1,947,100 lb-in. Similar to the MaxxDrive XD, its housing is designed to withstand high external loads and features an extended center distance structure.

In addition to diverse configuration options, Nord also offers a drive durability package, integrating components such as a desiccant filter, oil sampling point, oil level sight glass, quick-install filter cart connector, and an additional quick-install filter cart connector with an oil drain plug, to cope with harsh environmental conditions, ensuring system reliability and extending the service life of drive components.
