en.Wedoany.com Reported - South Korean server development company KTNF (CEO Lee Jung-yeon) has signed a business agreement with IA and its subsidiary IA Cloud (CEO Kim Sung-dong) to jointly develop Korean-style AI servers and small AI data centers and promote their commercialization. The three companies plan to move away from reliance on overseas manufacturers and Taiwanese OEM products, building a Korean-style AI infrastructure system that integrates and validates semiconductors, servers, and software domestically in South Korea.
On July 15, the three companies formally signed the agreement at IA headquarters. This collaboration aims to combine KTNF's domestic server technology with IA Cloud's cloud software, applying them to IA Group's small AI data center platform "NeoCube" to establish an integrated hardware-software Korean-style AI infrastructure model. NeoCube is a small data center that integrates AI computing devices, servers, cloud software, power, and cooling equipment into standardized units, enabling rapid installation and expansion at required locations.

Under the agreement, the three companies plan to pursue the following collaborations: joint manufacturing and commercialization of Korean-style AI servers; development of AI all-in-one servers equipped with domestic AI inference semiconductors (NPUs); establishment of standard server models for NeoCube; cooperation on domestic and international certifications and standardization; regular technical consultations on new server and component roadmaps; and joint domestic and international sales and business development.
KTNF will provide capabilities in server design and manufacturing, hardware and software system integration, and technical support. Its production infrastructure supports the entire process from motherboard design to finished product manufacturing within South Korea, enabling the development of servers optimized for the NeoCube environment and ensuring stable supply. IA Cloud will leverage virtualization cloud operating software as its core to achieve unified management of servers, storage, networks, and AI computing resources such as GPUs and NPUs, building an integrated cloud environment.
The three companies plan to go beyond server supply, verifying compatibility between different types of AI computing devices such as GPUs and NPUs, software stability, AI job operation stability, and power and cooling efficiency in actual data center environments. They will then jointly develop AI all-in-one servers and standard configurations optimized for NeoCube.
Currently, the South Korean AI infrastructure market is heavily dependent on overseas server manufacturers and Taiwanese ODM products. The three companies plan to move beyond simply importing foreign hardware, integrating and validating domestic AI semiconductors, components, and cloud software within the country. They aim to establish a Korean-style server system that can be designed and supported technically according to customer environments, improving supply stability and maintenance response capabilities, forming a South Korea-centered AI server ecosystem, and optimizing the performance of domestic semiconductors and software.
The jointly developed servers and AI all-in-one units will be applied to the NeoCube demonstration sites planned for Hwaseong and Gwangju in August and October 2026, respectively. Each demonstration site will be built with a power capacity of 150kW and an IT load of 100kW, serving as a test platform to verify the performance and operational stability of the Korean-style AI data center model integrating domestic servers, NPUs, and cloud software.
A KTNF official stated that the competitiveness of AI infrastructure depends not only on semiconductors but also on server design and system integration capabilities for stable semiconductor operation. Based on its accumulated expertise in motherboard design, server manufacturing, and quality verification, KTNF will work with IA and IA Cloud to develop Korean-style AI servers optimized for domestic NPUs and cloud software, creating a competitive business model in domestic and international markets through NeoCube.
