en.Wedoany.com Reported - U.S. logistics company TRT has partnered with XCMG, a global manufacturer of construction and lifting equipment, to introduce XCMG's full range of cranes and lifting equipment to the New Zealand and Australian markets. Under the agreement, TRT will represent XCMG's all-terrain cranes, rough-terrain cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, truck cranes, and port handling equipment.

TRT Managing Director Bruce Carden stated that this partnership closely unites two companies focused on engineering, innovation, and long-term customer support. Carden said that choosing the right original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner is not just about the product itself, but about confidence in engineering, a shared commitment to innovation, and the ability to create value and provide support for customers. He believes XCMG is an excellent fit for TRT because both parties are dedicated to developing better solutions.

Carden mentioned that TRT's recent visit to XCMG's crane and port handling factories further solidified the decision to collaborate. He and TRT Australia General Manager Neil Webb were most impressed by the engineers' dedication during the visit, as they proactively sought suggestions for product improvements. Several recommendations made by Webb were recorded and implemented during the visit.

TRT stated that this partnership will leverage its well-established sales, service, and parts networks in New Zealand and Australia. Carden emphasized that customers are not just purchasing equipment, but also uptime, reliability, and the support team behind it. TRT will support the XCMG product line with the commitment that has defined it for nearly 60 years, including sales, parts, and service, ensuring customers receive timely technical support, genuine parts, and experienced professionals.

Under the agreement, TRT becomes the authorized dealer for XCMG's cranes and port handling equipment throughout New Zealand. In Australia, TRT will operate as a sub-dealer for XCMG crane products in Queensland through Baden Davis Crane Connection, while also serving as the authorized distributor for XCMG tower cranes and port handling equipment on the east coast of Australia.

Founded in 1967, TRT designs, manufactures, and supplies heavy transport and lifting equipment, including TRT trailers and TIDD lifting cranes, in New Zealand and Australia.
