Wedoany.com Report-Oct. 27, German rental company Luibl Rental Group has acquired a new logistics centre in Volkmarsen, near Kassel, to enhance machine availability across central and northern Germany. The site features two warehouses with offices, workshops, and yard space capable of accommodating up to 600 machines. The property previously operated as an equipment rental business.

Karl Bauer, CEO of Luibl, said: “The corporate strategy is explicitly not the creation of regional competition for small and medium-sized rental companies, but the partnership-based cooperation with the re-rental partners. This allows them to serve their regional customers even better without having to purchase any special equipment themselves. Furthermore, the logistics routes for the handling of large-scale projects of key account customers in Northern Germany are being shortened.”

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Passau near the Austrian border, Luibl Rental Group operates a broad fleet of telehandlers, forklifts, aerial work platforms, and general construction equipment. The company serves markets across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

The Volkmarsen logistics centre strengthens Luibl’s ability to support regional partners and ensures quicker delivery and retrieval of machinery for large-scale construction projects. The acquisition also enables the company to maintain flexibility in meeting the demands of key account clients while fostering collaboration with local rental businesses rather than competing directly.

By integrating the new site into its network, Luibl aims to optimize logistics efficiency, reduce operational travel distances, and enhance overall service responsiveness.
