Recently, China State Construction Engineering Corporation's CSCEC International Southeast and Southern Africa Company successfully signed a contract for the Phase I roads and drainage engineering project in Kenya's Vipingo Special Economic Zone (VSEZ). This marks the company's formal entry into the ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms development system and represents a significant advancement in Kenya's industrial park and municipal infrastructure sectors.

The Vipingo Special Economic Zone covers approximately 2,000 acres and is invested in and developed by ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (ARISE IIP). ARISE IIP has established industrial parks in 14 African countries, with shareholders including the FEDA fund under the African Export-Import Bank and financial institutions such as the Africa Finance Corporation. The park's construction aligns with the development direction of Kenya's "Vision 2030," offering broad prospects for subsequent infrastructure investment. The Phase I project signed this time primarily includes 4.7 kilometers of roads and supporting drainage works. Located in the surrounding area of Mombasa, a port city in Kenya, the project enjoys significant geographical advantages. The company will adopt a self-management model, strengthening overall coordination and centralized procurement of materials, while strictly controlling quality, safety, and costs to ensure high-standard project delivery.
As the sole institution of China State Construction Engineering Corporation with its headquarters in China and its market overseas, CSCEC International has undertaken numerous projects in 34 countries, actively implementing the concept of green development. China State Construction Southeast and Southern Africa Company was registered and established in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, in 1988.
