On February 28, Wen Shugang, Chairman and Party Leadership Group Secretary of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., and Zhong Guodong, General Manager and Deputy Party Leadership Group Secretary, met with Shen Yanfeng, Chairman and Party Leadership Group Secretary of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), and Zhang Tao, General Manager and Deputy Party Leadership Group Secretary, at the Group's headquarters. Li Qizhao, Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member of China Huaneng Group, and Xin Feng, Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member of CNNC, also attended the meeting.

Wen Shugang extended a warm welcome to Shen Yanfeng and his delegation, expressed gratitude for CNNC's long-standing strong support to China Huaneng, and introduced the company's industrial layout, operations, and development. He stated that China Huaneng and CNNC have conducted extensive and in-depth cooperation across multiple fields. He hopes both sides will take this opportunity to leverage their respective strengths, further elevate the level of cooperation, deepen all-round collaboration in the nuclear energy sector, jointly build nuclear power as a "national name card," and promote the high-quality development of China's nuclear power industry.

Shen Yanfeng thanked China Huaneng for its care and support to CNNC and introduced the company's relevant plans for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. He said that China Huaneng is a leading enterprise in the energy industry, and the two sides have established a close cooperative relationship. Looking ahead to the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, he hopes both sides will further deepen practical cooperation in multiple fields to achieve mutual benefit, win-win results, and coordinated development.
