en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 21st, Algo Grande Copper Corp. has announced the commencement of surface and geophysical exploration activities at its wholly-owned Adelita project in Sonora, Mexico. This work aims to optimize drill targets in preparation for the Phase 2 drilling program scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026.

The exploration program includes high-resolution LiDAR mapping, drone-borne magnetic surveys, and systematic soil geochemical sampling. These methods will help identify topographic and alteration features, map intrusive contacts and skarn bodies, and expand the known mineralization footprint.

Enrico Gay, CEO of Algo Grande, stated, "Following the success of our initial drilling, we are systematically expanding the Adelita system. The drone magnetic survey will map the skarn horizons along strike, exploring for extensions beyond the Cerro Grande area." He added, "The LiDAR study is critical for the structural control system, enhancing our ability to trace key structures. This data will allow us to define drill targets with high confidence, advancing our drilling plans for Q2 2026."

Exploration data will be integrated into 3D geological and machine learning models to optimize drill hole placement and maximize discovery potential. This exploration at the Adelita project aims to enhance target selectivity and expand the known zones of mineralization.
