en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 30th, L.K. Group recently announced that it will showcase equipment including the LHU-500AB Horizontal Five-Axis Milling-Turning Machining Center and the MVD-850 Vertical Machining Center, targeting the precision component processing needs of industries such as new energy vehicles and molds.

The LHU-500AB Horizontal Five-Axis Machining Center is widely used in the post-casting machining of products like new energy vehicle motor housings (part of the "three electrics") as well as traditional internal combustion engine cylinder blocks, transmission housings, and helical blades. The equipment adopts a fully direct-drive A/C five-axis cradle rotary table, featuring high-precision transmission characteristics without backlash. Its linear axis axial positioning accuracy is 10µm, with a repeatability of 6µm. With a displacement speed of 75 m/min, acceleration of 1.6G, and a rotary table speed of 1200 rpm, it supports multi-process machining in a single setup, reducing manual intervention and ensuring workpiece processing efficiency and consistency.
The MVD-850 Vertical Machining Center targets the precision machining needs of die-casting molds, injection molds, and rapid aluminum molds. This equipment can directly machine hard materials, reducing reliance on EDM processes. According to L.K. Group, mold surface finish can reach Ra < 0.5µm, and machining accuracy is stably controlled within 15µm, helping to reduce subsequent mold polishing and finishing time.
In the field of automotive lightweight manufacturing, the post-casting machining of aluminum and magnesium alloy components is a crucial part of the manufacturing process. The two pieces of equipment showcased by L.K. this time address the five-axis machining and precision machining needs of different types of workpieces, providing multi-scenario solutions ranging from new energy vehicle "three electrics" products to mold manufacturing.
Experts from the L.K. Group Technology Center will also share insights on the technical key points of post-casting machining for automotive aluminum and magnesium alloy components, discussing the role of five-axis machining in connecting the innovation chain and the industrial chain. With the continuous development of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry, the application of five-axis machining technology in the field of precision manufacturing is gradually expanding.
