Hou Jinlong, President of Huawei Digital Power, proposed the development vision of "making grid-forming ubiquitous and AI omnipresent" at the event.

Hou Jinlong stated that the global energy transition focuses on two main tracks: clean energy substitution and electrification on the consumption side. Power systems are transitioning from traditional electromechanical control to power electronics collaborative control. Huawei Digital Power integrates four technologies—Bit, Watt, Heat, and Battery—to develop power electronics solutions for new power systems. In the field of grid-forming technology, Huawei is extending from energy storage grid-forming to scenarios such as PV grid-forming and load grid-forming, enabling various power electronic devices to provide active voltage regulation and frequency support capabilities. On the generation side, Huawei proposed that large-scale base construction will go through three stages: currently, grid-forming energy storage systems have achieved voltage transient support capabilities equivalent to those of synchronous condensers, and also offer frequency support, wide-band oscillation suppression, and full-station black-start capabilities, increasing the proportion of green energy transmission to 70%. In the Philippines' largest global PV-storage base project, Huawei achieved planned curve reporting 7 days and 24 hours in advance with an accuracy rate exceeding 96%, and the power control deviation at the grid connection point was below 1%.

On the transmission and distribution side, Huawei launched a new generation of string-type grid-forming PCS 430kW, pioneering a 1000V PCS AC system with a DC voltage operating range of 550V to 1500V, supporting both lithium and sodium batteries. The system's cycle efficiency has been improved from the industry standard of 96.7% to 97.8%, leading the industry. Huawei also opened up a 4S solution centered on PCS, including BMS, EMS, and TMS, and has completed multiple benchmark project deliveries with over 20 DC-side partners and more than 10 AC-side partners.

In the field of intelligence, Huawei officially released the FusionSolar Agent intelligent architecture. Based on the first FusionSolar Agent launched in 2025, this architecture has evolved from a digital technology architecture to an intelligent agent architecture after a year of practice, reshaping the full lifecycle intelligent management paradigm of new energy power stations from four dimensions: value, capability, security, and interaction.

The conference also held a launch ceremony for the string-type grid-forming PCS solution.
