Representatives of faculty from leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including D. Serikbaev East Kazakhstan Technical University and S. Utebaev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, participated in the seminar to exchange experience and strengthen international cooperation.

Over 50 employees from various departments of the combine attended a lecture by Kazakh scientist, Candidate of Technical Sciences, and Professor Apshikur Baitak, on the topic "Main Directions of Scientific Research in Geology and Mineral Resources." Additionally, Aliya Abilgazieva, a senior lecturer at Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, delivered a report titled "Education and Infrastructure Potential Development for Geological Research in Central Asia."

Participants discussed with foreign scientists the prospects for the development of the geological industry in Central Asia, as well as issues of improving education and infrastructure in the sector.

Aliya Abilgazieva, senior lecturer at Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, stated that the visit to Almalyk was part of the international summer school project "KazUzGeo." This project is based on cooperation between mining and technical universities of the two countries, with the main goal of exchanging experience and knowledge. She noted that after visiting the "Kalmakyr" and "Yoshilik" mines, she gained a detailed understanding of the ore extraction process, which is an excellent opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and acquire new professional skills. According to the visit plan, the seminar held at the Engineering School also allowed colleagues to share experiences. She believes that implementing such projects helps strengthen interaction between universities and industry and fosters the training of highly qualified personnel.

The meeting at the Engineering School is another important step by the combine to enhance employee skills and introduce modern scientific methods into production activities.
