en.Wedoany.com Reported - Teradyne Robotics (headquartered in North Reading, Massachusetts, USA) announced on June 11, 2026, at the Automate 2026 exhibition, the launch of a series of physical AI applications designed for real-world production environments. These applications are based on the collaborative robot platform of its subsidiary, Universal Robots, and the autonomous mobile robot platform of MiR.

Exhibited application cases include: adaptive surface grinding and precision assembly tasks for complex surfaces, completed using Universal Robots' e-Series collaborative robots combined with its AI Accelerator Suite; and automatic replenishment and cross-zone material transport in dynamic warehouse environments, completed using MiR's MiR1350 autonomous mobile robots combined with its fleet management system. These applications were developed and validated through Teradyne Robotics' "AI Training Ground" program, which provides a large amount of real-world training data for its robots' AI models.

The President of Teradyne Robotics stated that the goal is to transform the latest AI research results into production tools that are easy for customers to deploy and use. These production-ready AI applications aim to address key challenges in flexible production and internal logistics automation within the manufacturing and logistics industries, shortening the transition cycle of AI technology from experimental environments to factory floors.
