en.Wedoany.com Reported - Lexus's next-generation LFA sports car is scheduled for release in 2027, featuring a design that heavily draws from the LFA concept car and is powered by an all-electric drivetrain. The new model is expected to be equipped with a solid-state battery, aimed at enhancing range during aggressive driving and reducing weight to improve handling.

Looking back at the Lexus LFA concept car unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, it features aggressive aerodynamic design aimed at achieving a low center of gravity, lightweight construction, and high rigidity. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4690/2040/1195mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2725mm. The rear of the vehicle enhances horizontal visual impact through a full-width taillight and exaggerated air ducts.

In terms of powertrain, the next-generation LFA is all-electric and is expected to feature a solid-state battery, targeting a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of approximately 2 seconds and an all-electric range of around 700 km. The car will also be equipped with a lightweight, high-rigidity aluminum chassis, which has already been used in the production version of the Toyota GR GT and GT3 race cars.
