This facility in Chongqing, China, marks a significant advancement in producing automotive-grade power semiconductors, strengthening the supply chain for the rapidly expanding NEV industry.
Chongqing Anda Semiconductor focuses on developing advanced power devices critical for electric vehicle performance and safety. StarPower, which supplied components for over 1.2 million NEVs in 2022, enhances its industry leadership through this partnership. The joint venture ensures DEEPAL a stable supply of essential chips, supporting its production goals.
A DEEPAL representative stated: “This collaboration with StarPower strengthens our supply chain integration, ensuring reliable access to critical components as we pursue our million-unit sales target.” The facility supports DEEPAL’s ambition to scale production while fostering innovation in the NEV sector through closer ties between automakers and semiconductor firms.
