Wedoany.com Report-Sept. 28, UKA, a German renewable energy developer, has secured contracts to supply 104 onshore wind turbines with a combined capacity exceeding 700 MW through Germany’s August 2025 auction, managed by the Federal Network Agency. The tender awarded contracts for 376 projects, totaling approximately 3.4 GW, with UKA successfully securing all its submitted bids.
The contracts enable UKA to commission the turbines between 2026 and 2028. The company anticipates a milestone in 2027, when it expects to install over 1 GW of onshore wind capacity in Germany within a single year. This achievement advances UKA’s domestic project pipeline, which exceeds 9 GW in total capacity.
Gernot Gauglitz, UKA’s managing partner, stated: “The result marks a major step in the delivery of UKA’s domestic pipeline, which totals more than 9GW.” This success underscores the company’s growing role in expanding Germany’s renewable energy infrastructure.
