Wedoany News, Recently, the Danish subsidiary of Nuvve Holding Corp. signed a European Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) framework cooperation agreement with the Nordic energy storage solutions provider Capture Energy AB, aiming to simplify project procurement and promote the large-scale development of virtual power plants.

According to the agreement, Capture Energy will provide turnkey battery energy storage systems for the first three projects jointly developed by Nuvve and E&B Renewables in Denmark. The system will adopt Capture Energy's standardized liquid-cooled container solution, the BESS PowerBox LC, which is specifically designed for the Nordic climate to help extend battery life. The total value of the first three sales contracts is nearly $5 million, clearly defining standard terms and dispute resolution mechanisms. Delivery and commissioning are expected to be completed this summer, and Capture Energy will also provide 10 years of maintenance services. Gregory Poilasne, CEO of Nuvve Holding Corp., stated that the modular solution will help them quickly scale their virtual power plant operations. Niklas Tjäder, CEO of Capture Energy, pointed out that they will ensure cooperation efficiency through a strategy based on scale and standardization. The two parties are currently negotiating an additional three 10-megawatt projects, seeking to deepen their cooperation.
