RTE Signs Contract With Chantiers de l’Atlantique for Dunkirk Wind Farm’s Electrical Platform

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 09,RTE, the project manager for connecting offshore wind farms in France, has signed a contract with Chantiers de l’Atlantique for the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of the offshore electrical substation and its foundations for the Dunkirk offshore wind farm.
The assembly of the topside will take place in Saint-Nazaire, while the foundation will be fabricated in Fos-sur-Mer. Other suppliers in France will also be involved in subsequent phases of the project. In the coming weeks, RTE will finalise the procurement contract for the underground and submarine cables.
