Enviropacific is a well-known soil remediation company in Australia, with an annual turnover of A$250 million in the 2025 fiscal year and nearly 300 employees. The acquisition of Enviropacific is seen as a significant step for Veolia in expanding its integrated solutions, aimed at enhancing capabilities in complex soil remediation and on-site treatment, supporting its goal of generating €1 billion in revenue from micropollutant treatment by 2030.
The transaction is expected to create value through revenue growth and operational synergies. By integrating Enviropacific's customer and project resources, Veolia will accelerate its expansion in Australia's remediation and PFAS treatment markets, leveraging global technologies to optimize solutions and improve efficiency.
Veolia CEO Estelle Brachlianoff stated: "This move strengthens our role as a partner to both the public and industries in Australia, providing sustainable solutions to treat contamination and protect public health. It aligns with the GreenUp strategy, driving our global progress in environmental safety." She added: "Through this acquisition, Veolia continues to set new standards in environmental remediation and deploy advanced technologies in Australia. This is precisely the core of GreenUp: combining innovation with impact to tackle global environmental challenges."
