The B100 biofuel vessel powered by Weichai's core engine has completed 1,000 hours of sea trials, witnessed by partners including Nanyang Technological University, China Classification Society Singapore Branch, and Pinnacle Marine. This is Singapore's first B100 real-ship 1,000-hour sea trial project, offering a demonstration and data support for low-carbon fuel applications.

The Weichai B100 biofuel engine series has obtained the Type Approval Certificate from the China Classification Society. This series features optimized fuel systems tailored to the characteristics of biofuel, boasting powerful performance, high reliability and durability, fuel flexibility, convenient maintenance, and environmental friendliness, making it suitable for diverse application scenarios. The launch of the B100 biofuel engine products provides the shipping industry with a practical power option in its exploration of low-carbon fuel pathways.
In addition to the B100 biofuel engine series, Weichai has simultaneously introduced a multi-fuel product matrix covering the M and WH series, including the WH20 heavy oil auxiliary engine, the 16M23 high-end marine power for boats, the 12M26.3 model, and the 6WH17 methanol engine. Weichai's marine power propulsion systems and power generation business have over 50 years of application history in the Southeast Asian market, with products widely covering the Asia-Pacific region.
