en.Wedoany.com Reported - Danish European Energy has obtained permits for six wind power projects in Germany, with a total installed capacity of approximately 145 megawatts. These projects are located in Lower Saxony, Brandenburg, and Saxony-Anhalt. The permits were approved under the German Federal Immission Control Act (Bundes-Immissionsschutzgesetz, BImSchG), marking that the projects can proceed to the stages of renewable energy auctions, financing, and construction.

Johannes Thon, Managing Director of European Energy in Germany, stated that obtaining permits is one of the most critical milestones in renewable energy project development, transforming years of development work into mature assets, thereby advancing financing, construction, and long-term holding or strategic partnerships. He added that securing six permits in a short period reflects the strength of the company's project pipeline in Germany.
Thorvald Spanggaard, Executive Vice President and Head of Project Development, noted that Germany remains one of the developer's most important markets.
The core of European Energy's strategy is to create value through project development, followed by advancing asset financing, strategic partnerships, and capital recycling. The ongoing construction of its onshore wind pipeline in Germany is driving the energy transition in the Baltic region and surrounding markets.
