To improve safety and operational efficiency, the Cat 140 grader adopts an improved cab design based on the successful 120 platform. Larger glass areas provide a broader field of view, ensuring 360-degree visibility without blind spots, including the blade and tire areas. The standard rearview camera expands the line of sight, with the camera feed integrated into a 10-inch touchscreen. Operators can access new features like Cat Grade through the screen.

The new seat design optimizes foot and hip space, offering multiple adjustment options aimed at increasing comfort and reducing operator fatigue. The cab also features an updated seatbelt system for enhanced safety. This Cat 140 grader continues the reliable performance design, helping to lower operating costs while maintaining high fuel efficiency.

Regarding daily maintenance, the 140 model is equipped with convenient inspection points located in the seat and central areas, simplifying the maintenance process. dos Santos added that the new Cat 140 grader performs excellently in balancing weight and power, boasting an impressive fuel consumption index. Based on global testing data, cumulative operating hours have exceeded 40,000, validating its stability and durability.
