Ecuador's Largest Refinery Enters State of Emergency

Wedonay.com Report, On the 5th local time, Ecuador's state oil company announced that due to the impact of a fire, the country's largest refinery, the Esmeraldas Refinery, has entered a state of emergency, with a maximum duration of 60 days. A loading pump at the refinery caught fire on the 1st, leading to the suspension of some operations and equipment damage.

The Esmeraldas Refinery is Ecuador's largest crude oil processing center, with a daily processing capacity of 110,000 barrels of crude oil.
