This move is to advance its high-end silicon-carbon anode material production base project located in Zhoushan. The total investment for this project is 4 billion yuan, with the first phase investment amounting to 1 billion yuan. The project involves a relatively large investment scale and covers multiple silicon-carbon composite routes. It aims to build platform-type production capacity to meet the demands of leading battery manufacturers. The short time interval from signing to subsidiary registration indicates sufficient preparatory work, including technical verification and customer engagement, which facilitates the project's rapid progress.

Tianmu Xian Dao's technology originates from the team of Academician Chen Liquan and Researcher Li Hong at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the company has established systematic expertise in silicon-based anode materials. It has entered the supply chains of mainstream battery companies such as CATL, BYD, Samsung, LG, and EVE Energy, while also covering solid-state battery companies like Weilan New Energy.

Silicon-carbon anode materials are currently being gradually introduced, primarily by blending into graphite systems to enhance battery energy density. The construction of the Zhoushan base aims to strengthen large-scale delivery capabilities and replicate the existing technology system to match growing market demand.
