en.Wedoany.com Reported - Qcells (a U.S. solar and energy storage developer and EPC provider) has disclosed its specific role in the Atlas V and Atlas VI projects in Arizona. The two phases have a combined total capacity of 372 MW DC: Atlas V at 237 MW DC and Atlas VI at 135 MW DC. Qcells initially developed and divested these projects, constructing them under a self-operated EPC model. Modules are manufactured at a Georgia factory, racks use FLEXRACK products made in Ohio, and the energy storage system is supplied by LG Energy Solutions in Michigan. Hanwha Renewables has sold the projects to Morrison-backed Chrysalis Renewables, with Qcells providing long-term asset management services. Both phases have signed long-term power purchase agreements with Southern California Edison. The expansion plan for Atlas Energy Park aims to deliver 2.8 GW of solar capacity and 5.7 GWh of storage capacity by 2028.
