en.Wedoany.com Reported - Germany's alcemy GmbH has released an industry AI application roadmap after deploying artificial intelligence technology in over 150 ready-mix concrete plants, aiming to leverage AI to enhance production efficiency, quality control, and reduce product embodied carbon. The company's alcemy for Concrete platform accelerates the mix design testing feedback cycle, supporting a reduction of 5 to 30 kilograms of cement per cubic meter of concrete (15 to 85 pounds per cubic yard), and moves toward autonomous mix design optimization.
Traditional mix design adjustment cycles typically take six months, while alcemy for Concrete achieves continuous data-driven optimization through real-time monitoring of water addition, consistency, and mixture stability. As ready-mix concrete producers shift from commodities to performance-driven outputs, customer-specific performance requirements, variable aggregate sources, and increasingly complex material systems are becoming key competitive factors.

The next phase of alcemy for Concrete development was announced under the "Foundation Partnership" framework, a service involving multi-year enterprise AI transformation agreements with producers. Both products are based on an eight-year track record of collaboration with cement and concrete producers in 18 countries, including regional operating companies such as Buzzi Unicem, CRH, Titan Group, and Votorantim Cimentos.
