Wedoany.com Report on Mar 13th, The Weifang Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau in China recently announced the acceptance and public disclosure of the Environmental Impact Report for Weihai Wehecheng Chemical (Shandong) Co., Ltd.'s annual 150,000-ton polyurethane series products and 30,000-ton N,N-dimethylformamide project. The project is located within the Xiaying Chemical Industry Park in Weifang City, Shandong Province, China. It plans to invest approximately 504 million RMB, covering an area of 61,929 square meters.

As the construction unit, Weihai Wehecheng Chemical (Shandong) Co., Ltd. will build 3 new production workshops, 4 warehouses, and 5 tank farm groups. The facility will be equipped with 10 sets of polyester polyol production units, 10 sets of polyurethane resin production units, 4 sets of polyurethane shoe sole stock solution production units, 6 sets of solvent-free polyurethane hot melt adhesive production units, and 1 set of N,N-dimethylformamide production unit. The project is expected to commence construction in June 2026, with a construction period of 12 months, and is planned to be operational by June 2027.

Upon completion, Weihai Wehecheng Chemical (Shandong) Co., Ltd. will achieve an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of polyester polyol, 50,000 tons of polyurethane resin, 30,000 tons of polyurethane shoe sole stock solution, 20,000 tons of solvent-free polyurethane hot melt adhesive, and 30,000 tons of N,N-dimethylformamide. This polyurethane project aims to expand the company's product line in the chemical sector and includes supporting public auxiliary and environmental protection engineering to meet market demand and environmental standards.
