During that month, sales of pure electric vehicles reached approximately 827,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 9%, accounting for 37% of total vehicle sales for the month. Plug-in hybrid vehicle sales were about 494,000 units. Combined, their sales exceeded 1.3 million units. From a market structure perspective, pure electric vehicles accounted for 59% of new energy vehicle sales. From January to November 2025, plug-in hybrid vehicles held a cumulative share of 54% of total new energy vehicle sales, while pure electric models held a cumulative share of 33%.

The 37% market share reflects the current acceptance level of pure electric vehicles in China's automotive consumption.
