en.Wedoany.com Reported - Indian solar EPC company Oriano Clean Energy has commissioned a 112 MW DC/80 MW AC ground-mounted solar PV project for Hexa Climate Solutions Private Limited.

This solar PV project is located in the Jam area of Wardha, Maharashtra, covering approximately 300 acres, and employs fixed-tilt mounting structures and string inverters. Oriano executed the project under a turnkey EPC contract and secured a two-year operation and maintenance contract. The transmission infrastructure includes a 1.9 km, 33 kV double-circuit line and a four-bay 132 kV pooling substation, which was commissioned in December 2025, paving the way for the solar PV project to connect to the grid.
The solar PV project is expected to generate approximately 196 million units of electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 140,000 tons per year, equivalent to providing clean power to over 160,000 Indian households. Hexa Climate Solutions is an IPP platform focused on renewable energy and decarbonization, currently holding an operational and under-construction asset portfolio of approximately 3 GW in India.
As a homegrown Indian solar EPC company, Oriano Clean Energy has demonstrated its engineering and delivery capabilities in large-scale ground-mounted power plants through this solar PV project. The seamless transition from the commissioning of the pooling substation to commercial operation validates the reliability of the overall design and construction plan. The commissioning of this solar PV project adds new capacity to Maharashtra's renewable energy installations and also reflects the sustained competitiveness of solar power generation costs in India.
